Our Story

Welcome to Farmerlicious Inc. We farm and ranch with our children near the foot of The Bears Paw Mountains in Big Sandy, Montana. After getting some Dairy Goats for our daughter Kiera and niece Alyssa in 2010 for a 4-H project, we were hooked. We enjoyed the goats so much, spring 2011 we visited Amaltheia Organic Dairy and purchased a few more dairy does and some wethers to use for w**d and brush management around the farm. Then we thought why not a few more and wanted to diversify a bit and headed in the meat goat direction purchasing our first Spanish/Boer does in the spring of 2011 and then expand further we bought our first Boer breeding does and buck in the summer of 2012 from Lost Prairie Farm to start our meat goat program, and also to help with w**d management in our organic farming. We have been farming organically for the last 4 years and are certified through the MT Department of Agriculture. We prefer organic farming practices and are implementing more organic and sustainable farming practices as we grow. We have implemented a soil health building rotation because we care about carbon emissions, waste, energy use, and proper land management related to agriculture. We are currently trying to figure out how we can best play our part as farmers, promoting sustainability, while also working to help feed the world high quality food that has not been factory farmed or genetically engineered.
