Dawn update! Dawn is doing so well! You wouldn't even know now that she almost died earlier. She was unstable for a while, but a chiropractor seemed to help her a bit. Even though she seems 99.9% better, we have grown super attached to her, so she is staying here! 😆🥰

Kodak is a sweet and handsome 6th generation buckling. His dam is a FF and I am pleased with her udder and production so far! On her first 12 hr fill she gave me 2.93 lbs of milk (I expect 2 lbs for a FF). Kodak's sire's dam is retired now, but was one of my favorite does to milk as her production was consistent and she was just easy to milk out quickly. Meet On Cloud 9 (Cloudy). Cloudy is a handsome 5th generation buckling out of Golden Plains CF Just Cumin Along 2*P by Green Gables DOF Ignorance's Bliss +*B. He is a nice boy with a lot of width and a calm disposition. His dam has been one of my most consistent higher producers and his sire's daughters have all done well in the milk pail as well. These F6 kids are a result of a multiple time repeat breeding out of Golden Plains IB Moonlight Sonata *P by Cedar Creek OB Cruz Got It GoinOn *B. I have loved how these two goats have paired up! This year there are 2 bucklings (both polled), and 2 doelings (both disbudded). Euphrates (the first buckling with moonspots) is sweet tempered, has a nice topline, and is nice and thick in body. Dusk (the black and tan) is more plain than her siblings, but she is well put together and sweet in personality. Dawn (the one with the most moonspots) is adorable and my special girl. She's the one that got a major injury at 1 week of age (neck & head injury). She has made a remarkable recovery, although still isn't 100%, so for right now she's staying here (that may change if she becomes 100%). And last but not least, Tiber is the last buckling. He also has a sweet personality and is longer bodied than his siblings.

The udder pictures are of their dam, their sire's dam, and 2 full sister siblings that I have freshened. Again, I have been very pleased with the kids from this match!

Introducing 5th generation polled buckling named Jump the Gun, barn name of Gunner. Gunner is a large single buckling. He's a little more standoffish in personality, but I am still able to pet him. He unfortunately lost the tips of his ears, I believe to frostbite. I didn't notice it right away, as it didn't happen at birth (it wasn't cold enough). I am guessing that he dipped his ears in water when it got cold later. His ears were about 1 1/2 inches longer! He is out of Golden Plains CGIG Elsa by Green Gables DOF Ignorance's Bliss +*B. Fjord and Tributary are super handsome 7th generation bucklings. I am impressed with their overall width and thickness. They have been very strong and sturdy from the start. They are out of Golden Plains ICL Patty Cake by Cedar Creek OB Cruz Got It GoinOn *B. Fjord is a little stand offish (we are working on that), and Tributary is friendly, but not in your pocket. These 5th gen kids have some of the cutest faces. They are a set of triplets out of Golden Plains CGIG Anna by Green Gables DOF Ignorance's Bliss +*B. Unfortunately, their dam did not freshen with the udder I had hoped she would have, so the two boys will be wethered. And for a change, the beautiful moonspotted one is the doeling! Rosie and her brothers, Knock Knock and Stitch, are in your pocket friendly. Their dam's udder is pictured along with their sire's dam's udder. Their sire usually improves attachments on udders, so I have hope that Rosie will inherit more of her sire's side.

These handsome and friendly fellows are 6th generation *B bucklings out of Golden Plains 4 Leaf Clover 2*P by Storybook's Enoch *B! Eleazer is pictured first, he is sweet and has the best topline out of the siblings. Josheb is pictured second and he is polled and has really good width, especially in the rear. Shammah is the third kid and he is also polled and the sweetest in personality. Their dam has a well shaped udder with good texture and good production. I would like to see slightly better attachments, and her teats are too long, although super easy to hand milk! Their sire's dam has a phenomenal udder overall with pretty much nothing I would change about it! PM me if you would like to know more about these guys.
