Our fruit orchard didnt do anything this year because of the last minute spring freeze and the drought. No apples, pears, sand cherries, or peaches.

But, even though the Elderberry bushes are stunted in growth by the dryness, they bloom later than the other fruits so we have some flowers forming. We will see what we get.

We are almost done with the sign painting. Brodey will be tracing the letters on, then we'll paint🤗

This is our 3ft double sided sandwich board sign we are placing at the beginning of our lane to advertise from the road. It will have an arrow pointing up the lane towards the stand. The farm name will be in red with a white outline. The Farm Stand Open will be white with a red outline, and the days open will be red with a white and navy blue outline.

Don selected Red, White, and Blue years ago as our farm colors🇺🇲so we are staying with the theme.

We are excited to finish this up. Step by step, its coming together. Opening Day is Friday, May 29th. Come see us!

Its coming right along. The roof went on today🤗and one of the farmstand signs is painted. The last coat of waterproofing is on the cabinet and we are working on the rest of the signs that advertise us from the road. Don is busy cutting the boards for the sides and will add them soon.

Keep an eye out for more. In the meantime, we do have eggs for sale at the farm. Stop on by.

Our new Farm Stand opens Friday, May 29th for our community. Then, starting on Saturday, May 30th, we will be open each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8a-2p thru October (weather Permitting).

Lots of items will be offered during our open season. Now, they wont be offered all at the same time, so you need to stop by often or place your special order. Forms will be available at the stand🤗

I'll be posting on Wednesday and Thursday on this page and in our SanD Hill Farm page on what's available during that week.

We spent the day getting the spot ready for our new Farm Stand.

We hope to open the end of May. Tomorrow we are waterproofing the cabinet and adding the roof. Our signs are cutout waiting for the paint and the lettering!

Brodey is pretty excited to get this going and so are we.
