Despite being knee deep in the Dog Days of a hot, high desert summer, these beauties are thriving. If you’re interested in some dried lavender bundles, visit our local retail locations, found on our website. 💜 Or message us, and we will see what we can do to send some your way.

This year’s harvest was exceptional. The scent, the yield, the clarity of the oil… we’re feeling pretty proud of what we’re doing. We’d love nothing more than to pass along a little bit of our farm’s good energy to everyone feeling stressed out and needing a natural way to transport to a relaxing field of flowers and peace.
Small batches of pure lavender essential oil coming soon to our website! Find the link in our bio.

It was a long but beautiful weekend. We put 400 new plants in the ground, installed 400 emitters in over 1000’ of irrigation line, and then took some time to explore the north part of the property with a stroll at sunset. Our fifty(plus)-year-old bodies are tired, proud and grateful.

Know the best part? We get to do this together. We dreamed it, and now we are building it; just like everything we’ve done since we’ve met. We tackle the hard things together, find moments to laugh at our mistakes, embrace each other during frustrations, and sit back and take in all the blood, sweat and tears (and there have been ample doses of each).

Every single experience - successful or not- is something to savor. Along the way, we’ve been fortunate to have the love, support and help of family and friends, and that has made this ride even better, and we are excited to see this thing continue to develop. After all, life is about connection, relationships, and kindness - sharing all the goodness life has afforded.

And, at the end of the day, I simply cannot imagine a better partner to experience this life with. ♥️

There’s simply nothing better in the morning on the farm than catching the first glimpses of the sunrise in the cool, crisp air over the lavender fields.

Dan is there this week getting the old field ready for harvesting and a new field ready for planting. I’ll be driving up soon to help out. By Sunday, we will be ready for a quiet day relaxing our tired, but happy, bodies.

Nobody farms because they’re bored or looking to make fast money. Farming is about loving nature and working with her to grow beautiful and helpful things. You have to love it. You have to be willing to work hard. And, it’s ten times better when you get to do it with your favorite person. 💜

Dan spent a couple of days prepping for this coming weekend when we will be expanding our farm, yet again!

Every year we’ve tried to add a few hundred more plants. This year, we need to replace a few plants (varieties that didn’t make it from our first plant) and fill out the final rows in our original lavender section. Then, we have officially started our “south field”. The first of our expansion phases that will hopefully end up with several acres worth of beautiful lavender plants for picking, picnicking and potential photo pics for those wanting a great place for engagement photos, senior pics, etc. One day, we’d love to finish building out a venue for weddings, family gatherings, craft fairs, etc.

Keep watching! We are taking this one phase at a time. It’s not about getting to a certain point, it’s about enjoying the journey… together. ♥️
