When you bake your own sandwich bread, lunch just hits different.
Today's lunch on a slice of Retro Dough Soft White Sandwich Bread — turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and all the good stuff. 😋
This is exactly why I love this bread: soft, fluffy, and made for a GOOD sandwich.
And yes... Bread Club members get a fresh loaf every week. 👀

I’m keeping things a little lighter in the Retro Dough kitchen this week, but I couldn’t let summer slip away without bringing back a favorite!

Double B Ranch is restocked with all sorts of delicious sourdough, sandwich bread, cinnamon rolls, and oatmeal cream pies. It's such a pleasure doing business with them because they support so many local businesses. I hope you're able to find time to stop in there this week to do some shopping. Y’all asked… and I listened! After seeing how much interest there was in having fresh sandwich bread every week, I’m officially opening 8 spots for the very first Retro Dough Bread Club!
For $30 per 4-week cycle, Bread Club members will receive:
🍞 1 full-size Homestyle White Sandwich Bread loaf every week
✨ Professional slicing INCLUDED
📅 Thursday pickup
💕 Your loaf automatically reserved each week — no need to preorder!
My Homestyle White bread is a big, soft and fluffy 35 oz loaf, made with whole milk, butter and honey with a tender, buttery crumb. It’s perfect for sandwiches, toast, grilled cheese, French toast… or sneaking a slice with butter while you’re standing in the kitchen. 😉
Bread Club subscriptions are paid upfront at $30 for each 4-loaf cycle.
Your fresh loaf will be ready for pickup each Thursday. If you ever need to make different pickup arrangements for a particular week, just send me a message and we’ll work something out!

Okay y’all… I’m thinking about trying something new!

I’ve had a few people mention that they’d love to have fresh bread from Retro Dough every week, and it got my wheels turning…

Would anyone be interested in a weekly bread subscription?

The idea would be simple: you’d have a fresh loaf reserved for you each week without having to remember to preorder,and slicing would be included for subscribers! 🙌

I’m thinking options could include my soft White Sandwich Bread and/or Classic Sourdough, with the possibility of adding other varieties depending on interest.

Right now I’m just putting out feelers before I work out all the details!

It's almost fall and I'm so excited to start offering some fall flavors on my menu! I'm also planning to bring back the porch stand once it's cooled down a little during the days.
My question to you is: Would you be interested in some summery lemon blueberry sweet rolls this month to say good-bye to summer flavors? If so, I'll have them available on my pre-orders for the rest of this month.

Any of my bread loaves can now be professionally sliced for just $1 extra — so when you pick it up, it’s ready to go for sandwiches, toast, grilled cheese, or straight into the freezer.
