K & J Orchard U-pick Cherries We are a family owned and run U-pick cherry orchard on the east shore of Flathead lake. We update this page every Spring until the harvest is complete.

K&J Orchard is a family owned and run U-pick cherry orchard on the East side of Flathead Lake. We're located near Yellow Bay State Park and the Flathead Biological Station on HWY 35 mile marker 17.5

We sell tree ripened cherries which ripen sometime in july. We take the following payment methods; cards with 3% fee, Venmo, Local check and of course cash.

2026 cherry harvest is over! We canโ€™t express how grateful we are for each one of our customers, new and returning customers of many (many) years. YOU are what makes the orchard fun and exciting for our family to provide memories for your family. โค๏ธ Last day poundage was 1740 # of customer picked cherries. ๐Ÿ’ We look forward to seeing you all at the 2027 Cherry Harvest season. Hello Cherry Lovers,
Today was great with 684 # of customer picked cherries ๐Ÿ’. Tomorrow is Saturday July25th, our last day. Letโ€™s make it a record day of over 2000 # customer picked cherries ๐Ÿ’. We have well over 4000 # of dark sweet cherries ๐Ÿ’ on low reaching branches. K &J Orchard originally started with Keith and June, their son Brett and wife Shelly and their childrenโ€™s families run the orchard now. We have all loved being here this harvest and being with our amazing customers. Cherries are ripe and ready to go. Our families need to go back to our paying jobs. ๐Ÿ’ต
Our last day July 25th, is Brett and Shellyโ€™s anniversary. Be the first customer on our last day to guess the number of years right and get 5 # of cherries ๐Ÿ’ free.

Canโ€™t wait to see you. Still plenty of low hanging cherries, 4,000 to 5,000 pounds left on the trees. Easy picking. We have everything you need to pick and pack home. No ladders necessary.

Today Wednesday July 22nd was hot and slow. We had a lot of families traveling through and stopping by to pick for a total of 514 # of customer picked cherries. We are anticipating that Saturday will be our last day for u-pick dark sweet cherries . We still have lots of trees heavy with cherries. We have over 4,000 pounds of cherries left to be picked. Cherries like to be picked in the cooler weather so morning is always the best. Storage of cherries in a cool, dry drawer and wash right before eating. Always check FB for updates.

Today, July 20th was slow but steady day with 686 # of customer picked cherries. Day 5 of the 2026 cherry harvest. We got to visit with families from Arkansas, England, and New Zealand. Cherries unite us together.
We have plenty of dark sweet cherries for U-pick on low hanging branches so everyone in the family can pick. We accept cash, local check, Venmo and credit card.

Sold out of U-pick Rainierโ€™s but we do have picked bags of Rainierโ€™s at the Cherry Lemonade stand operated by the family little kiddos. โค๏ธ

Todayโ€™s update for Saturday July 19th, day 3 of the 2026 cherry harvest. It was very hot and we stayed consistently busy with 1,743 of cherries ๐Ÿ’ picked today. Thank you to everyone who kept us busy and for guessing on the trivia question.
We have a winner! These customers, Keith, Allen, and Jill, have been coming to K & J U-Pick Cherry Orchard for 28 years.. YES, you read that right, since 1998. They knew that Keith and June owned and operated the orchard.(K & J). Jill Deane Naipo. K & J has been in the family since 1986.
We still have several thousands of pounds of ripe dark sweet cherries on low hanging branches, everything you need for picking, and a discount if you pick over 100 . The total poundage picked today was 2,586 pounds. We have plenty of low hanging Lambert cherries left. Vans and Rainierโ€™s are gone.
