Great group !!

Today, 3/5, employees from Ferris, Biggsville, and Blandinsville attended a Spring Preparation Meeting at the Ferris branch.

This meeting included presentations on safety, agronomy, application, inventory management, customer interaction, and more. Thank you to those who presented today!🌽💚

Jeff Reffett, from the Galesburg branch, has been named one of four finalists for the 2025 Illinois Custom Applicator of the Year by the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association.

Jeff began his spraying career in 1979 and has been working in the agricultural industry since 1992. Jeff takes great pride not only in the quality of his application work, but also in the service he provides to his community. One example of this is his organization of grain donations during harvest, with proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society.

The 2025 Custom Applicator of the Year will be announced on August 20th. Congratulations, Jeff! The Western Illinois Division wishes you the best of luck!

Tom Galusha, from the Biggsville branch, is the next operator to be highlighted. Tom has been with Nutrien for seven years, but he has been involved in the agricultural industry for forty-three years.

From David Dare, the Biggsville branch manager: "Tom has been treating every acre like his own, since 1982. He takes pride and ownership in his work.”

Fun Fact: Tom is a skilled trap shooter, who has won numerous titles and tournaments. He also enjoys fishing on the Mississippi River!
