**9 days. 16-hour days. Record-breaking sales. And one incredible team. 💙**
We survived the **MontanaFair** and I don’t think I could ever fully put into words how grateful I am for the people who helped make it happen.
For nine straight days, my days were consistently around **16 hours long**. And because apparently the fair wasn’t enough 😂, we also had a brewery scheduled, **two private events AND the AMC lot** to keep running.
It was more than I anticipated. A LOT more.
But somehow, we did it.
And not only did we do it… **we finished the fair up 65% in sales! 🤯** We broke our all-time single-day sales record on Friday and then turned around Saturday and absolutely **DEMOLISHED that brand-new record.**
There is no possible way I could have done that alone.
My team ran errands, came in early, stayed late, picked up extra hours, jumped into whatever position needed help and kept things moving when I was running on fumes. My boyfriend became an honorary food truck employee for the week, running errands and helping with whatever I needed too. 😂
But I especially need to brag about the wonderful women I have in my corner, because at this point, I really believe **Luscious Layers is a little bit theirs, too.** 💙

You are unbelievably dependable. You stay until the very last task is finished, no matter how long the day has already been. I never have to wonder if something will get done when you’re there.

Cool, calm and always three steps ahead. You make sure every burger gets the right toppings and will literally have the *next slices of cheese laid out for me* so I can just keep smashing and moving. Those little things make such a huge difference when orders are flying in.
**Evelynn**
You held down the fort at our second location while I was buried at the fair. The amount of responsibility I can hand you and trust you with is incredible. You are always willing to help wherever you're needed, and having someone I can depend on to run another location is invaluable.
**Carol**
You VOLUNTEERED to come in early and help make cakes just so we could keep up and stay stocked. Because apparently selling a ridiculous number of burgers wasn't enough, you guys also wanted dessert. 😂🍰
**Izzy**
It was literally your **SECOND DAY on the line** and suddenly you're smashing burgers at the MontanaFair and working a ton of extra hours. Talk about getting thrown straight into the fire! 🔥 You jumped in and kept going.
**Emily**
Always upbeat at the window, even when the line wouldn't stop. You kept orders moving and made sure every boat was labeled with the correct pager number, one of those jobs nobody thinks about until 30 orders are sitting there at once. 😂
**Shaundel**
You were an absolute blast at the window and jumped around the truck doing whatever needed to be done. You brought such great energy during some VERY long days.
There were so many little things happening behind the scenes that customers never see. The prep. The cleanup. The supply runs. The restocking. The dishes. The late nights. The early mornings. The moments when someone noticed what needed to be done and just **did it**.
**This was a complete team effort.**

You kept us unbelievably busy. You waited in our lines, came back for your favorites, told your friends about us and helped make this our biggest fair yet. Every burger we smashed and every exhausted drive home was worth it because you continue to show up for this little business in a BIG way.
From the bottom of my heart, **thank you to my team, my family and every single person who ordered from us during those nine crazy days.**
I am tired. I am proud. And I am incredibly grateful.
And because we have to have a little fun with just *how busy* you kept us…
