The Story of Ceci’s Popcorn

For a year, the Palins and the Stombaughs have been working to build Ceci’s Popcorn. In October of 2018, we officially signed the paperwork with the State of Montana and became a recognized company.

Why Ceci’s? Cecilia Carmichael is a fictional character that we created to embody the passion of this project. She is an old-fashioned, hard-working gal that loves people, parties and popcorn. She represents who we are as families; hard-working people that love to relax with a bowl of popcorn and each other.

Cecilia also represents whom we want to reach out to: Ceci = Central Community. Ceci’s will be more than just a shop for gourmet popcorn, but a place for people to experience the love of God from the moment they walk in, to the moment then leave the shop. From the start, we have envisioned a business that meets a community demand (popcorn) while meeting community needs (loving people) in support of the Billings area. We are thrilled to be launching Ceci’s Popcorn and anticipate a great future as we provide a service to our community in meeting both physical and spiritual needs.
