Sorry for the long delay! It’s been pretty chaotic since school started back and I’ve been navigating getting all four munchkins settled into a brand-new school year. But I have to admit — it’s been a pretty fun kind of chaos! ❤️😂

And all those busy school mornings got me thinking… something NEW may be washing ashore at Flip Flops & Cake Pops! 🌊🧁

I’m doing a little trial run on fresh-baked breakfast muffins — something fun and easy for the little ones to grab on those mornings when simply getting everyone dressed, fed, and out the door feels like an accomplishment! 🎒😂

Today was a day worth celebrating!

Our very first official test batch is complete, and we’re so excited to share that it was a huge success! 🎉

Every dream starts with a single step, and today our dream became just a little more real.

We’re honored to introduce the very first dessert in our Signature Coastal Collection…

✨ Ship Island Vanilla Bean Cakesicle ✨

Inspired by the sugar-white sands and crystal-blue waters of Mississippi’s beautiful Ship Island, this signature creation captures everything we love about our Gulf Coast.

Made with our handcrafted Ship Island Vanilla Bean Cake and our silky Ship Island Vanilla Bean Buttercream, then dipped in a premium white chocolate shell and finished with elegant handcrafted coastal chocolate décor.

Soft, creamy, rich with real vanilla bean flavor, and designed to bring a little taste of the coast to every celebration.

We’re incredibly proud to say that Ship Island Vanilla Bean has officially earned its place as the very first member of our Signature Coastal Collection! 🌴

As exciting as today has been, this is only the beginning.

With 17 days left before our four munchkins head back to school, our family is soaking up every minute of summer together. ❤️

Once school is back in session, I’ll officially be back in the kitchen, dedicating my days to recipe development, flavor testing, decorating techniques, and creating the next signature flavor for our Coastal Collection.

I can’t wait to take you along for the journey as we continue building something truly special, one handcrafted dessert at a time.

We’re carefully crafting our signature menu, refining recipes, and selecting only the desserts that earn a permanent place in our collection.
