Ella & Charlie both qualified to show for the Dennis Franz Premier Showman award. This was especially important to them since the award is in honor of their mentor’s family member. The competition consists of showing a sheep, pig, goat and a beef cattle. They had fierce competition and in the end Ella pull out the win.

Ella and puppy sheep took home Champion lightweight at Cottonwood County Fair, and champion Sr Showman, as well as champion sheep interview. New at the fair this year were belt buckle “trophies”. There were 17 local business that stepped up and each sponsored buckle for these kids to wear after year. Thank you Larry Nesseth Seeds for sponsoring Ella’s buckle.

Charlie’s sheep was purchased in the premium auction by American Bank & Trust. Thank you for helping this kid fund his livestock project.
