The Binghamton Farmers Market x Binghamton Porchfest today☀️Something about this day feels so nostalgic and sacred, you know? Like, we're in the scene in the sandlot when the whole neighborhood is outside for the 4th just having a whole ass picnic with tables and chairs in the road and sparklers and a giant cake for everyone to share. That's porchfest. That's community, that's a day well spent full of local live music in the sunshine out in the streets of our town. It's a special kind of day, and I'm so hype to be a part of it at the market🤍

Grab a latte, and I mean you can actually just grab a latte...and go! How wild! The way we went from the longest lines on the block, to an actual grab and go latte, for porchfest no less, so you can be sure to catch all the hometown bands, wait in line for other food, grab cookies, find a lemonade stand, and bask in the energy all day. How perfect🤸🏼‍♀️

We've got a couple flav options for bottled cold brew & chai, and I'll still be slinging made to order matcha😍 See you at Rec Park in Bing for the farmers market, special artisan market and kids village from 11-2pm bb's🙏🏼

Just doing it. Just throwing things out into the wind to see what lands without stopping to second guess. It's truly an honored skill set for any delusional girlie🤸🏼‍♀️

Changing up my entire business model over the last month...it's really inspired a new flow for myself and The Bright Side, it's honestly fu***ng wild. I'm mostly excited, only a lil nervy, to see where this new lil river keeps taking me. You comin with meeee?🌊

🍑Saturday at the Broome County Regional Farmers Market I'll be slinging made to order cold brew, matcha, chai and Ube lattes. I'll have some big boy bottles of the plain Jane cold brew for you to grab and make your own lattes at home!

🍅Sunday at the Binghamton Farmers Market I'll be slinging cold brew and chai latte bottles- perfect easy grab and go for Binghamton Porchfest ! As well as made to order matcha and Ube

I can't eeevveeeennnn express how GRATEFUL I am for you...yes, YOU. The ones who come out to the market to support me, shoot the breeze with me, give me hugs and hang out with me. You are the real ones. This community..it's truly incredible and I'm fu***ng honored to be apart of it with you. See you this weekend🤍

It's been almost two weeks since we unexpectedly said goodbye to my dad. Two weeks and I feel like I've lived several different lives as I navigate the world without him and what that means moving forward.

So far, I know that he's with me. I know that he's with my siblings, his grandchildren, and the people who he loved deeply in this life. Music has always been our connection, and I can feel him with me when I listen to certain songs, when I look out at the water and wildflowers, when I dance and cry in the rain. I've never been so grateful for so much rain in the summer..it feels weird. It feels surreal to know how much I've changed in only two weeks. I guess that's grief though, you know?

Even 3 years ago, I don't think I truly understood what grief meant...and now I feel like I live here. I'm renting a room in this house of grief. But I think I'm okay with staying for a while..just remembering and honoring and crying and feeling. It's a hard place to be, truly the hardest fu***ng place tbh...but I'm finding my ways to stay grateful, to find peace and grace during my stay here.

My dad was always a super religious dude, he was a pastor for 30 years and I always looked up to him for the way he helped and worked with people. I'm so grateful I got to spend the last 4 years listening to him tell me how The Bright Side, my small business that I've built from the ground up more than once, is my ministry. He said this is your ministry and your purpose, you're doing it. And I believe him.

At this point, I'm not entirely ready to be in work mode, but this is my reality, you know? Reality as a small business owner, reality of being a single mom with a mortgage and bills. It's honestly kind of s**t, but I'm grateful that THIS is my reality. That my work and my business is focused on serving an amazing family of customers and community who love and support me🤍

And you know what I would really love? Maybe instead of sad condolences, let's smile and hug and find joy and listen to music and JUST BE this weekend, you know? I feel like my dad would love that for me ☀️

Bless up the American Farmer for reeeaalll, you know what I'm sayin? Bless up the people who spend their time, resources, energy and life growing, producing and providing REAL & FRESH food to communities all over the country not only during this bulls**t we're living through, but always.

Small & local businesses are the under dogs. We're the people coming up and competing with massive chains and corporations within restaurants, grocery stores and cesspools like target and everything in between. They don't make it easy for us. They make it easy for people who are tired, who need something to be easy in their day, to have a drive thru, to be cheaper when everything is disgustingly overpriced. That's where they get us.

They make it easy to forget, that the small businesses and the local farmers are still here.

The people whose income depends on how the weather is, the families who work together and show up every single week at markets to be able to pay their bills, the people who are constantly & consistently opening their businesses every day in support of their community to gather.

Keep showing up to your local farmers market every week. Keep buying your groceries and house stuff like soaps & detergent from a local farmer who you can actually meet and talk to. Keep buying your bread and treats from a local baker who probably doesn't sleep because they put their love and care into everything they bake. F**k chains and f**k billionaires. Stop feeding the system in any small way you can and keep your money in your community.🙏🏼

Rebellion has always been a favorite word of mine, since I was 12 years old wearing my anarchy patches on my jean jackets feeling like I was untouchable and didn't give a fuuuuuckk about what anyone expected of me

Fast forward 23 years and we're still out here with the same attitude, but with life experience to actually hold that mindset that I still, in fact, do not give a f**k about other people's expectations of me🤸🏼‍♀️

Now I have the real ability to be sovereign as hell and ungovernable af and I'm running with that every single day even when I don't know exactly what it is I'm actually doing. It's all made up. Suck a lil bit at first and maybe look like an idiot for a minute while you build your skills and knowledge, and then what? Who can f**k with that? No one. Your creative soul was built for this, and there's only ONE OF YOU in the world, we need your voice and your magic out here bb✨

Shop local this Saturday at the from 9am-1pm - this small action of supporting our community and real food and real families, is the most simple and real act of rebellion in this moment🙏🏼

And I know it's taken me a minute, or like 3 months, to get on my grind with the Slow Sunday Club, but I needed those slow Sundays myself, youknowhatimsayin? But I'M HERE NOW and I'm ready to move into connection and lingering with you this Sunday at from 11-3pm🥰

Let's talk Matcha🍵

Long story short: there's a global shortage of Matcha that's been going on for awhile now, and not only do I not feel good about continuing to contribute to this, I also don't love the super high costs, inconsistent supply, and having zero control over the products I put my time and energy into selling 🫠

So I'm shifting bb's, I'm pivoting into tea latte blends that will use less Matcha, while utilizing other amazing ingredients that focus on cognitive function, mental clarity and emotional regulation support✨

WITH THAT BEING SAIDDDD, I will have a LiMiTeD supply of my OG Matcha tins for sale this weekend at:
🌱The on Saturday from 9am-1pm in my new spot in the side party room🤙🏼
✨ for Slow Sunday from 11am-3pm

Get em before they gonnneeee and we move into a new era of functional tea blends that will be magical and amazing for your brain and nervous system bc Ilysm and I love myself and I f**kin need it too🤸🏼‍♀️🙏🏼

05/10/2026

As a mother, a single mother, I'm feeling differently this Mother's Day, is anyone else feeling this way? I'm feeling rage instead of peace, I'm feeling wild instead of relaxed, I'm feeling misunderstood instead of content. I'm feeling like mothers and the actual fu***ng magic that is a woman, has been completely lost in the sea disconnection and unrealistic expectations in our society.

I became a mother almost 10 years ago at only 25 years old. I barely remember my daughter's birth because I had literally no idea what I was doing, but barreled through because the doctors and nurses told me to. They rushed me, they rushed my natural birthing process, they scared the s**t out of me and kept me in a room in the NICU for almost a week and kept me awake all through the day and night to nurse her when I couldn't keep my eyes open and I didn't understand what was going on while I was completely alone. I cried nonstop. I didn't recognize my body or the woman looking back at me in the mirror. I was told, this is giving birth. This is motherhood. This is what you have to push through, this is normal, you have to stay in the hospital, you can't leave.

I followed the systems set in place for me. I went back to work, she spent time with family and eventually went to preschool, then public school. We followed the rules every step of the way. We didn't step outside of lines and did what was expected of us...and I was met with crippling anxiety and depression from both myself and my daughter, every single step of the way.

F**k every single version of that and any story for any woman that sounds even remotely close to this. The systems that are set in place for us, thrive on our disconnection from our children and ourselves as women...they fu***ng count on it.

They count on it so we forget our power, our innate and natural power as co-creators of this world and every single human being who has been born into it. HOW WILD IS THAT?! That is the strength and pure POWER a woman holds, that we're forced into repressing to be able to survive and pay the bills in this society.

Don't give up your power, you're a fu***ng goddess that deserves to be celebrated every single day

Remember being a kid when we thought everything was lined up for us in this life? Remember when we thought it was as simple as going to school, going to college and getting a "real job" before getting married and having kids? Was that always the end goal?

I've been on that conveyor belt, and it took me 30 years to finally figure out how to step off. To finally figure out what community truly means instead of s**tting on the small town I've grown up in. It took me 30 years to realize I can create the life I want, even if that looks like slinging drinks with a pink espresso bar under a pink tent in the middle of the park, because why the f**k not? Why the f**k not if it allows me to live slowly and find myself and raise my kids instead of putting them on that very same conveyor belt.

We need to live together within community, we need to share space and time and resources, we need to find our creative flow and share that with the world...or even just a few people. The world needs your magic, your community needs your presence now more than ever. Show up for yourself and the people around you, even if it's in a small way, even if it's shopping locally and buying your food within your community.

The world is heavy as f**k, but we can thrive in our own communities. That will not change if we keep building and keep working together in whatever capacity that looks like for you🤍
