Odin Bowie, now 4, has been fighting for his life, since his very first breath. He was born unresponsive and it took 4 minutes to resuscitate him. During the next 2 years , he would be given 3 diagnoses. The first diagnosis, came back West Syndrome. His second, a degenerative brain atrophy, called Krabbe Disease. And lastly, his third diagnosis, Dopa Responsive Dystonia. Through everything life ha
s thrown at him, Odin has FOUGHT, and still offers up an infectious smile for everyone around. So imagine his parents distraught reactions when going to grab his special needs car seat, barely used, to find it stolen from their home. Insurance won't cover it because he hasn't outgrown it. By his mother, Shayla's estimate, that isn't going to happen for another 2-3 YEARS.
