So sorry not posted. Been kinda outa the loop with a foot that got infected after puncture wound. Mostly all better now--but I have a new love--an essential oil combination that kills antibiotic-resistant infectious bacteria! And it did a major number on two hornet stings I got the other evening! Amazing stories--I'll try to post on Marian Van Beever's page.

The previous post is about treating disease with diet. A major part of this diet is probiotic- and nutrition-laden food, which is mostly fermented food. I got The Idiot's Guide to Fermenting Foods book--you can find it here at Jerri Bedell's site, www.homesteadersupply.com. HOLY COW! This book is fantastic! It's time to make some terrific kraut or more sourdough bread or super salsa --it's all extremely simple to make and can help heal your gut (intestines), where 85% of your immune system lies. Don't like sour stuff?--not all of it is sour--there's even a fermented chocolate cake recipe!
