Lazy J Herefords was established with one goal in mind- To have healthy, happy and outstanding animals. There's nothing that makes us happier than to look in our fields and see our Lazy Herefords!!! Happy cows aren't just in California anymore...
We have been in the cattle business for over 20 years, and always loved the calm demeanor of the hereford breed. So we started purchasing exclusively registered herefords. As we grow our herd we strive to improve our genetics as well as muscle development to get the very best animals possible. Our animals are raised naturally, and with their health as our utmost priority. We keep accurate records for all of our herd and utilize all of the latest technology to improve the quality of all of our animals. You never have to settle on livestock when you to turn to Lazy J Herefords.

We have branched out to selling farm raised beef. It’s so good we thought we would share. Freezer beef is sold in whole or halves. Raised humanely just like our breeding stock. Grass fed, whole grains, and hay is their sole diet. Never in a stockyard. USDA certified and vacuum sealed for longer shelf life. Please contact us for your reservations or with any questions.
