These little pig faces are the cutest!

Every spring we look forward to the arrival of a new litter (or two) of piglets. This litter is one of my favorites with the beautiful tri colors. They look just like their mama, Coco.

Kunekune piglets from parents registered with the AKKPS. 6 months old and ready to find a new home. 4 Barrows, 3 gilts. We overwintered them so that you don’t have to. We are also expecting another litter in the next couple weeks.

Kunekunes are a smaller, slow growing, heritage breed pig. They graze without rooting and eat a minimal amount of grain. We’ve enjoyed raising and harvesting them on our farm for the last 4 years.

A couple of weeks ago, Coco, a first-time mother, delivered a litter of 7 Kunekune piglets. Millie gave birth to a litter of 5 piglets a few days later. All are healthy and thriving.

We’ve spent many hours in the pumpkin patch this summer - watering, hoeing, and caring for the plants. Last week we started hauling out loads of pumpkins for our roadside stand.
