The sweet life. Our maple syrup is still made using traditional methods. It may take a little longer but more advanced operations are plenty expensive.

It took a couple years but we are back in the syrup making business

Greetings from Full Circle Farm & Forestry,
We write this with heavy hearts and great difficulty.
We regret to inform you that Full Circle Farm & Forestry will not be offering shares this year and will be ceasing operations at its current location within the next few weeks.
Over the past four years, we have been renting our home and land with the intention to purchase. Despite our very best efforts in negotiating terms and our excellent legal counsel, the owners of the property backed out of the most recent and final iteration of a proposed contract. We are still stunned over this sudden development, as we had no indication whatsoever that the other party would change their minds and were lead to believe that all issues of contention had long been resolved.
So, what does this mean for you?
-We suggest supporting other local farms or CSAs, many may be found through the LocalHarvestâ„¢ website.
So, what does this mean for us?
-We intend on seeing our last maple syrup season through at our current location.
-While we will be living locally, we will also be working on re-establishing family farmland in the Southern Tier of New York State, splitting our time between Albany and Birdsall, NY. Organically raised poultry will be our primary focus at first, but we will expand and diversify as a sustainable organic farm.
-Our business name will remain Full Circle Farm & Forestry and we will continue to build community through food.
Thank you very much for your support.
All the best,
Alex A. Person and Ann C. Wemple-Person

Ducks were more than happy to get the nearly four inches of rain in the last couple days. Blackberries are really starting to ripen and the first batch of meat chickens are in the freezer.
