Last 2 days to sign up for Fall CSA Sign-ups!!

We are making an adjustment to our winter Sign-ups. We are going to split the fall/winter season into 2 sign-ups in preparation for some new changes we are planning for next year! Be on the lookout for Facebook posts as we are able to share more information. All sign-ups will be based on a 4 month sign-up period. We will sign-up January-April in November.

Pick-ups will continue to be on Mondays, pick-up times will be shifted a half hour earlier than summer to help with the loss of daylight as we move into the fall. Same as last fall.

We look forward to being able to continue to be able to supply your family with wholesome, local and fresh food for your family.

Sign-ups will run from August 2nd- August 16th

You can also add chicken or eggs to your order which run from September-December once per month.

NEW PRODUCTS ALERT!

We are excited to announce we have new products to offer.

Whole ground chicken- includes white and dark meat, the skin and fat. Works as a great replacement for ground beef or ground pork. We use for tacos, meatloaf, grilled patties. Endless possibilities!! $5/lb. In 1/lb. Vacuum sealed packages.

Heritage chicken- these are pure breeds of chickens selected for faster growth over generations, compared to the cornish that are a cross of multiple breed to give their vigorous growth in 7 weeks. These birds are processed at 12-16 weeks old. By growing longer they have the opportunity to develop more flavor. These are the type of chickens that would have been raised in the 50's and 60's before the development of the cornish cross chickens. They have a higher ratio of dark to white meat on a whole bird compared to a cornish but the white meat tends to stay more juicy due to more fat deposits. We have the current cuts avaliable and can help you with how to get the best flavor and tenerness out of them.
