Patoka Lake Brewing Patoka Lake Brewing was created with one goal….to brew great beer!

Patoka Lake Brewing began operations in May of 2020 in Jasper, Indiana under the name Lighthouse Brewing. We have since re-branded the business as Patoka Lake Brewing and moved into our new building at Patoka Lake! We continue to use premium ingredients and state-of-art equipment, and follow the strictest quality protocols in the brewing of our beer. Our brew master, DJ Hanselman has over 12 years of brewing experience and trained under Master Brewer, David Pierce.

Please only comment though if you are able to attend this game! It is the same day as our 3 year anniversary celebration here at the Brewery, so that is why none of us are using the tickets! 
Remember, do not respond to any scammer accounts telling you that you are the winner and asking you to give credit card info. We will not do that!! We will make a separate post on Friday at noon notifying the winner at that time

🎉🍻 Please help us wish Kelly Sturgeon a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🍻🎉

Kelly has been part of the Patoka Lake Brewing family since the beginning of 2024, and we truly appreciate all the hard work she has given us! When she isn’t working part-time at the brewery, she’s a full-time nurse—which tells you just how caring and hardworking she is. ❤️

Kelly hasn’t been able to work much this summer while recovering from knee surgery, but before long, our customers will start seeing her beautiful, smiling face behind the bar on weekends again!

In her spare time, Kelly loves spending time with family, laughing it up with her amazing group of girlfriends, and boating on Patoka Lake. She’s also one of Chilitos’ biggest fans and can’t get enough of their shrimp tacos and margaritas! 🌮🍹

When it comes to her favorite Patoka Lake Brewing drink, Kelly simply can’t choose just one—she loves our Sunset Strawberry Blonde, Fiesta Del Lago Mexican Lager, and Sunken Punkin beer! 🍺

Kelly loves being part of our fun work family and getting to know all of our wonderful customers. We’re so thankful to have her on our team!

Today we’re celebrating one of our team members, Kristie Rockman 🥳

Kristie has been part of the Patoka Lake Brewing family since the fall of 2023, shortly after we opened our doors, and we’re so thankful she’s been with us ever since!

Her favorite part about working here is our customers—from our incredible regulars who feel like family to the first-time visitors who stop in and share their stories. She truly enjoys getting to know each and every one of you!

When it comes to enjoying a drink at the brewery, you’ll usually find Kristie with a Float Your Boat Hard Seltzer – Spicy Pineapple, her go-to favorite! 🍍🍹

As for free time… Kristie says, “Who has free time?” 😄 Between spending time with family and escaping into a good book whenever she gets the chance, she stays plenty busy!

Did you know the IPA (India Pale Ale) has one of the coolest stories in the beer world?

Back in the late 1700s, British brewers were shipping beer to soldiers and traders stationed in India. To survive the long sea voyage, they brewed a pale ale with extra hops, which acted as a natural preservative and helped the beer stay fresh for months. That style became known as the India Pale Ale, or simply… IPA!

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday to our awesome bartender, Leah Sturgeon! 🎂🎉

When she’s not at her full-time job or behind the bar at Patoka Lake Brewing, you’ll probably find her living it up in Nashville, Tennessee, going on SXS rides and trips, and spending time with friends and family. And if it’s the weekend, there’s a pretty good chance she’ll be hanging out at Finn’s after work! 😋

Leah says one of her favorite things about working at the brewery is all of our amazing customers. She loves getting to know our regulars, meeting new faces, helping people discover their favorite beer (or seltzer!), and being part of the reason they keep coming back. 🍺❤️

Her favorite drink? 🍑 Our Float Your Boat Peach Hard Seltzer!
