Welps Farm and Greenhouse Welps Farm and Greenhouse is a family ran Greenhouse and Gift Shop. It all started with planting and selling fall mums in 1993.

Today, we have annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, fruit bushes and trees, garden plants, and a gift shop that offers a little for everyone. Come and check us out; you won't be disappointed!

Today is Good Friday. Grandma always said we had to have our early potatoes planted today for a good crop. She would have us plant sweet peas and onions as well. We have them all and are open today.
Potato varieties are: Kennebec, Yukon Gold, and Red Lasoda
Onions- yellow bulbs
Onion slips- Texas sweet, Super star white, and Red Candy

Blackberries, Gooseberries and Raspberries are great fruits to grow and they produce the same year you plant them!
We have 2 varieties of blackberries- Navaho and Apache which produce large berries and are thornless.
We carry Heritage Raspberries which have thorns and produce for longer periods and if there is enough moisture they will produce summer to fall.
The gooseberries have thorns as well and are the Oregon variety. They are tart but great in pies and wine!
We even have the fertilizer needed to keep them happy!

We have 2 varieties of peach trees this year.
HaleHaven and Contender
They are both self-pollinating peach trees that produce well for us in this area. You don’t need to plant more than one unless you want to like other fruits. They are great for eating, canning, pies, and preserves!

Spring is a beautiful time of the year! The azaleas and forsythia bloom bright and bold. The trees start budding out and blooming. All the colors sure brighten our days.
We have some of these items to put in your landscaping or yard so you can sit on the porch or patio and enjoy them on sunny days!
We have red, pink, purple, and white azaleas. Azaleas keep their leaves all year and bloom in the spring. You may see a few blooms in late fall.
We have the Show Stopper Scarlet forsythia. It blooms the beautiful and bold yellow you see below.
We also have Ruby Falls redbud trees and the regular red bud trees as well as a few dogwoods.
