Want to learn more about Gruyère, AOP designations, cheesemaking, and taste some fabulous cheese? Come see us tonight for our summertime Gruyère d'Alpage Cracking at 5:30! Join us as our cheesemongers open and sample a large wheel of this seasonal favorite. Prized for its lush milk from cows grazing on summer grass, wildflowers, and herbs high up in the Swiss Alps, this milk has an undeniably unique terroir.

This event is free and open to the public, just give us an RSVP on our Eventbrite (linked in bio), so we have an idea of how many people are coming!

Summertime grilling is here! Shop a variety of our housemade sausages, all beef hot dogs, and other grilling links specially crafted for the ultimate bite, snap, and flavor.

These Buffalo Chicken Sausages from Dom | How To Grill are done right- slow smoked, clean heat, and big flavor. Checkout his cooking recommendations below:

• Start with raw sausages, cold and dry.
• Smoke low at 160°F for 3 hours with apple or pecan wood, rotating every hour.
• Crank it up to 300°F for 30 minutes until they hit 160°F internal.
• Not serving all of them? Drop the rest straight into an ice bath for 5–7 minutes. That stops carryover cooking and locks in the snap.

When you’re ready to serve, reheat low and slow or pan-sear to bring them back to life.

Our newly expanded kitchen space was designed to give our talented team of mongers and chefs even more room to create thoughtfully sourced, seasonal Grab & Go sides and prepared foods. These dishes are crafted to pair with your favorite meats and seafoods while highlighting local ingredients and specialty foods found throughout our shop. We plan on having a starch, veggie, salad, and cheeseboard available on a rotating menu based on seasonality.

🥗 Green Tomato Salad | Crisp, tangy green tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, French Feta, onions, and red peppers with a red wine vinaigrette

🍄 Roasted Mushroom Pasta | Rigatoncini and roasted chestnut mushrooms with a shallot and herb sauce

Alpage Gruyere Cracking next Thursday, June 18th at 5:30pm!

Join us for our annual Gruyère d’Alpage Cracking! This exciting cheese is a summertime favorite due to its seasonal terroir. Alpage Gruyere is made through the act of “transhumance”, the act of moving cows from the lowlands up to the highlands to graze on lush summer grass, wildflowers, and herbs. This traditionally happens between May and October, meaning the milk used to make this cheese was produced last year. We’ll be opening up a wheel of Gruyere from the Brenleires Chalet, one of only 50 chalets in Switzerland that’s able to produce this certified AOP cheese, for free samples and fresh wedges to take home to welcome the first day of summer.

This free demonstration starts at 5:30 pm at our shop and will include samples, refreshments, and other pairings to highlight our unique producers and products. RSVP below so we know how much accoutrement to prepare.
