6 slices for 6 months! Half a pizza pie down and we celebrated bhamfoodbaby’s half birthday at Dave’s Pizza. We enjoyed the double pepperoni double cheese pizza and a dyno.

They have already got the place decorated for Halloween. Too early for Halloween decorations? Never. Too much pizza? Also never. 🎃🍕

Be sure to go by for the pizza and stay for the boos. 🍕👻🍻

Opa! The Greek Food Festival is going on now thru October 3rd. This is one of my favorite events in Birmingham and they always do such a great job organizing the event. I got my first meal of the food festival for lunch and usually make a second trip to enjoy the food and experience. I feel like every year I go I run into several friends that I haven’t seen in ages. 🇬🇷

For my feast, I got the pastichio and can’t forget a side of dolmathes. Bhamfoodmama ordered her favorite Greek chicken as well and I brought home a side of pitas to enjoy later. While you are there, don’t miss the desert tables. Their famous baklava and Greek donuts with coffee are always a hit for us. Across the street by theor entertainment tent, you can even get a baklava ice cream sundae 😍. I could watch the entertainment for hours and the kids always do such a great job. They also have a beautiful church to tour inside and I recommend everyone to go inside as well.

There are fall coffees and then there is Pumpkin Caramel Frozen Cappuccino from SANTOS COFFEE. Try this coffee and you’ll thank me later.

🌭 Bratwurst with potato salad + cucumber salad
🥨 Sourdough pretzel with b**r cheese
🍎 Apple Danish
🇩🇪🍫🍰 German chocolate cake to finish it off

The pretzel dipped in that b**r cheese alone is worth the trip. 🤤

Sakana in Hoover might be one of the most dangerous places to tell me there’s no limit to all you can eat in 2 hours.

Sushi, hibachi, pho, appetizers… just keep it coming. 🍱🔥 We definitely got our money’s worth.
