Hey y’all! How’s it going? Things are heating up outside but my oven is still on. What desserts are on your wishlist?

Saturday I hosted a garden themed brunch for my nieces. Each year I host an event that’s just for them. They chose peach cobbler and strawberry banana pudding for desserts and they were so yummy! Are you a banana pudding fan? Did you know that we also have peach cobbler and biscoff pudding on the menu? What’s your favorite?

Hey y’all hey. How’s it going? I hope you took a moment to pause and remember and honor those who sacrificed all.

We’ll be taking orders for Friday and Saturday pickup. What would you like to see on the menu? Singles? Grazing boxes? Cinnamon rolls? Cake slices? Peach cobbler? Banana pudding? Cookies? Something else? What’s your suggestion?

Hey y’all! Happy primary elections day! No matter who you choose to vote for I hope you get out and exercise your rights.

Now let’s get into these cinnamon rolls. What’s your favorite? From original to orange and everything in between, they will bless your soul. Can we talk about these banana pudding and newly added strawberry banana pudding rolls? Take everything you love about strawberry banana pudding and put it in a cinnamon roll form and you get this glorious creation. And my puddings are made from scratch. We don’t do boxes over here. Hmph.

Cinnamon rolls will be available Thursday and Sunday. And yes, singles will be available if you’d like but you might as well don’t even play with yourself and go ahead and purchase multiple.

Hey y’all! How’s it going?

Do you like cinnamon rolls? What about crescent rolls? Have you ever combined the two? Just glorious.

Let’s get into these cinnamon glazed crescent rolls. These are my classic cinnamon rolls, with a few extra folds, rolled into crescent rolls shape, and topped with classic vanilla glaze.

They’re so good and a nice change from the classic cinnamon roll shape.

Crescent cinnamon rolls are on our menu. Don’t you want some?

Hey y’all! How’s it going?

Last week I had the honor to travel to Washington, D.C. again to advocate for small businesses as a part of Meta’s Business Leadership Network. I was one of five Alabama business owners chosen by Meta to represent the State. Each business owner brought a different perspective but all had a common goal of making sure those on the Hill don’t forget about small businesses, discover more ways to enhance our business, and be of service to our communities. Along with Alabama, small businesses owners from around the country descended on Capitol Hill to meet with policymakers to discuss the things that matter most to us.

I met with Senator Katie Britt’s office to tell them about Prewitt’s Flour Shop, discuss privacy laws, advertising on digital platforms, and AI technology and its benefits for small businesses. The meeting was very productive and I was able to let the policymakers know what small businesses in Alabama need from them.

Meta also provided sessions on digital tools, product demonstrations, and advocacy training. In addition, they offered small group office hours where we were able to meet with Meta executives to discuss platform concerns, data centers, and other issues pertaining to small businesses. I was able to help bring a voice to rural Alabama to make sure those communities aren’t left out of the conversation.

In between all of the meetings and sessions we were able to network with other small business owners. Meta made sure that we were taken care of from accommodations, transportation, food, and everything in between. From a rooftop welcome reception to the closing dinner and dancing, Meta left no stone unturned.

I’m grateful that God continues to see fit to bless this little Black girl from Ensley, Alabama and place me in rooms where He needs me to be in. I am able to not only use my voice to advocate for myself but to also use it to advocate for those who need it most. As opportunities presents itself I have to remember it’s not about me, but it’s about God and His purposes.

Where He leads I will follow.

Let’s get into these cookies. What’s your favorite kind? I’m a sugar and oatmeal cookies person but my chocolate chip cookies are glorious and a customer favorite. Did you know the I make chocolate chipless cookies? These are made with the same dough as the chocolate chip cookies but without the chocolate. And yes, they are different than sugar cookies.

Have you tried our cookies? What about our old school iced oatmeal cookies? What’s your favorite? We offer cookies by the dozen and trays. We also offer cookie grazing boxes.
