The forecast is calling for Cinnamon Almond. 🍂☕️

There’s something about that first hint of fall that makes you want to switch up your morning routine — and our NEW Cinnamon Almond Granola understood the assignment. 🤎

Think crunchy golden clusters, toasted almonds, and plenty of cinnamon in every bite. It’s our beloved Almond Butter Granola with a delicious new twist, made for everything from yogurt bowls and morning coffee to grabbing a handful straight from the bag.

Now THAT is a whole lot of granola! 👀

A little behind-the-scenes look at our warehouse — and one very full wall of Jessica’s Natural Foods ready to make its way to stores (and eventually your pantry 😉).

It’s pretty surreal seeing this many boxes stacked up and remembering that every bag started with one homemade granola recipe in Jessica’s kitchen. 🤎

17+ years ago…

Jessica had a reliable corporate job, a steady paycheck…and absolutely no plans to start a granola company.

Then her husband discovered he needed to eat gluten-free and found himself missing one of his favorites: oat-based granola.

Jessica loved to bake, so she did what came naturally—she headed to the kitchen. 👩🏻‍🍳

She started experimenting with recipes until she created a gluten-free granola her husband loved. Then family and friends tried it. They loved it too. And before long, people started telling her the same thing:

You should sell this.

Which sounded exciting…until selling a little granola turned into considering something MUCH bigger: leaving her stable corporate career to actually build a business around it. 😳

No formal baking experience.
No background in the food industry.
No guarantee it would work.

Just a really good product, a love of food, and a feeling that maybe this idea was worth taking a chance on. 💗

For someone who considers herself very risk-averse, leaving the security of the corporate world was a HUGE leap.

But she took it.

And over 17 years later, that little idea born in Jessica’s kitchen has grown into Jessica’s Natural Foods—with granola now sold in stores across the country. 🥹✨

The year was 2009. Jessica had baked three flavors of her gluten-free granola and packaged 300 samples of each flavor to bring to stores around her home in Michigan.

No big sales team. No fancy launch strategy.

Just Jessica, a whole lot of granola, and the hope that someone might give it a chance.

One of those stops was Holiday Market.

The buyer tasted the granola and said something Jessica wasn’t exactly prepared for:

“I’ll take a case of each flavor.”

Amazing news!!!

Except… Jessica had never actually sold granola to a store before. 😅

So she went back to her warehouse, packed up the order and did what any brand-new business owner in 2009 would do:

Googled how to make an invoice.

The next day, she delivered the order herself.

That was one of the very first chapters of Jessica’s—and more than 17 years later, we’re still baking granola here in Michigan. 🌼

There’s something pretty special about looking back at the moments when you’re figuring it out as you go… and realizing they were the beginning of something much bigger! 💖💫

You may or may not know this… but Jessica’s granola isn’t made in a big factory-it’s baked with love in a small facility by a team of just nine incredible bakers who’ve been with us for over five years! 🩷

They’re truly part of the Jessica’s family — caring, dedicated, and passionate about every crunchy cluster that leaves the oven. 🥰

Each batch (yep, just 100 pounds at a time!) is hand-baked, hand-spread, and hand-packaged by this amazing crew. Their hands 🤲🏻 touch every step of the process - from mixing the oats to sealing each bag you see on the shelf. ✨

We’re endlessly grateful for this team and the care they pour into every bag of Jessica’s granola. 🥹💛
