Every business has a first. Jessica’s came with 900 granola samples and a Google search. 😂🤍

Back in 2009, Jessica was baking granola in her own kitchen, hoping to turn something she loved into a real business.

She packed up 900 samples of her three original flavors and brought them to local grocery stores, hoping someone would give her a chance.

Then came Holiday Market. 🌼

The buyer loved her granola and ordered a case of each flavor!

Jessica was thrilled… until she realized she had absolutely no idea how to make an invoice. 😂

So she went home, Googled it, and delivered her very first order the next day.

Seventeen years later, Jessica’s is on grocery store shelves across the country.

But behind every big milestone is a little moment like this—one woman, a dream, and the determination to figure it out along the way.

Here’s to remembering where it all began. 🤍

🎄✨ A little Jessica’s surprise is waiting behind one of these doors!

We’re so excited to be part of the 2026 Delicious Michigan Advent Calendar, filled with treats and goodies from Michigan-made brands — including a Jessica’s Vanilla Maple snack bag! 🤍

Jessica’s Natural Foods actually started right here in Michigan, in Jessica’s own kitchen. When her husband needed to eat gluten-free, Jessica started making granola at home — and what began as something for her family eventually grew into the small business you see today.

Years later, we’re still making our granola here in Michigan, in our dedicated gluten-free facility, with the same focus on simple ingredients and those big, crunchy clusters you know and love. 🥣

So getting to tuck one of our very first flavors, Vanilla Maple, inside a calendar celebrating Michigan-made businesses feels pretty full circle. 🥹

And you won’t know which day Jessica’s is hiding behind until you open it. 👀🎁

Jessica has worn just about every hat there is at Jessica’s Natural Foods… recipe developer, baker, salesperson, packer, problem solver, and everything in between! 👩🏻‍🍳

What started in her own kitchen in 2009 has grown into bags on grocery store shelves across the country, a team behind every batch, and customers who have made Jessica’s part of their own kitchens and mornings.

And after all these years, she still gets just as excited about what she’s building! 🌼

New ideas. New goals. Busy days at the bakery. Seeing her granola on a shelf somewhere new. Hearing from a customer who just discovered their favorite flavor.

There’s always something happening behind the scenes, and Jessica is right in the middle of it! 💕

There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing Jessica’s before it becomes the bag you recognize on the shelf. 🌼

No perfectly styled yogurt bowl here—just a whole lot of freshly baked granola and the people behind the scenes making it happen!

And yes… we absolutely spotted the giant clusters in that pile too. 😍

A little pinch-us moment over here! 🥹💛

Jessica’s Natural Foods was recently featured by Tasting Table in its roundup of highly rated gluten-free granolas and we are SO excited to be included!

The feature highlights our eight flavors, organic certified gluten-free oats, wholesome non-GMO ingredients, and, best of all, some of the incredible feedback from our customers. From Almond Cherry being called “hard to put down” to Chocolate Hazelnut being described as “rich and satisfying without being overly sweet,” seeing your words included made this feature even sweeter!! ❤️
