Tonight’s Thursday Pour features Tom Bullock’s Burnt Orange Bourbon, and trust us… this one is worth discovering. Smooth, citrusy, warm, and ridiculously easy to sip. The label may catch your eye first, but the bourbon is what keeps you coming back for another pour. Plus, there’s history here…

Tom Bullock was a legendary pre-Prohibition bartender born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1872. He worked at elite clubs including the Pendennis Club in Louisville and later the St. Louis Country Club, where he became famous for his cocktails and hospitality.

What really set him apart is that in 1917 he published The Ideal Bartender, widely recognized as the first cocktail book written by an African American bartender. At the time, that was groundbreaking. The book documented classic cocktail culture right before Prohibition changed American drinking forever.

Shake off the post–Memorial Day fog and settle in with a Tito’s cocktail that does some good while you’re at it. Every Tito’s Tuesday, we’re pouring featured cocktails for $12 all night long starting at 4 PM — and donating $2 from every drink purchased to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, one of our favorite local charities supporting furry friends in need.
