County Fairs matter
🇺🇸 America was built on the belief that hard work could take you somewhere. Not guarantee success, but give you an opportunity.
Every summer, county fairs are filled with kids betting on that same idea. Early mornings. Late nights. Countless hours in the barn. All chasing a goal they've set for themselves.
🇺🇸 America was built on the idea that where you come from doesn't determine where you can go.
Walk through a county fair and you'll find kids from every background imaginable. Different families. Different stories. Different dreams. For one week, none of that matters. They all belong there.
🇺🇸 America was built on community. Neighbors helping neighbors, people investing in something bigger than themselves.
You see that at the county fair too. You see it in the business owner buying a market animal. The volunteer who gives up their time. The family helping another family get through a tough week. The exhibitor lending a hand to a competitor.
🇺🇸 America was built on faith. Faith in God. Faith in family. Faith that tomorrow could be better than today.
Faith can be found amongst the barns at a county fair too. You see it in the prayer before the livestock sale. In the family that bows their heads before a meal. In the exhibitor who has done everything they can do and trusts God with the rest.
🇺🇸 America was built by people who took pride in their work.
Pride plays a role for the kid who spends an extra hour washing their project. For the exhibitor who shakes the judge's hand whether they win or lose. And for the family that refuses to cut corners because they believe some things are worth doing right.
In a world that seems to have lost many of these values, we are proud to know where we stand and what we stand for. If you're tired of watching the chaos and mess happening in our world, take a walk through a barn at the county fair.
