*UPDATES*

Pic 1 - This sweet mama lost 3 of her babies to fire ants but has one little one thriving 🩷
Pic 2- I set 6 golden sebright eggs about 3 weeks ago in the incubator & only 1 developed. These 2 girls were due to hatch around the same time so I gave them that egg. Found the top of its marked shell in their coop yesterday afternoon so that little one is hiding under there somewhere!

Nothin’ to see here, just a few golden cuckoo ladies gathered around the water bowl for barnyard gossip time 😆

Earlier this year, I decided to start a little project with Orpingtons. I had a few chocolate hens with no rooster & a Chocolate silver laced boy with no hens. So that’s where it began! I hatched some chicks and grew them out & kept the best looking 2 girls to go with another one of our Chocolate silver laced boys. The girls have just started laying and needless to say, I’m pretty excited about what the next phase of this little project may bring ☺️🥰
