Knowing it would be the last opportunity to have any photos taken with Bo, I asked Stephen Lane to take some shots of us at the FAHS Christmas Ponies Festival. It’s taken me three weeks to be emotionally able to look at them; but I absolutely adore this pic he took of us, and I’m so grateful to have this to remember my boy by in his elder years ❤️

We would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who expressed condolences over the loss of WH Bodacious. As you can well imagine, it has been very difficult the past few weeks. For those of you who didn’t know, Bo ruptured his left eye three days before Thanksgiving. As he had been blind in his right eye for two years this left him 100% without sight, and at his age and health surgery to remove/repair the injured eye was not an option, especially as he would remain without sight. While he was stoic and handled the situation well, he was in pain and we felt it was not fair for him to continue living that way.

Bo was one of the first Arabians I trained, and while he and I had an incredible relationship, he was not a one person horse. Bo touched so many lives, both as a sire and an individual. Over the next few months I will be sharing photos and stories celebrating his life and journey of nearly 31 years. And I encourage everyone who knew and loved him to share you stories and photos as well- you can either message the page of me personally and I will share them on this page.
