Transparency will always be what’s most important to us. That’s the whole reason ARB became a company in the first place. We didn’t trust our sources for buying beef, and we needed to guarantee that our food supply was exactly the way we wanted it.
Some people won’t agree with me making this post, and I understand your reasoning. I think in 2026 though, we’re at a place with so much deception in our faces, that it’s important to discuss issues head on.
First off, I’ve NEVER , ever pretended that I was a “natural” athlete. I’ve openly discussed the ups and downs of my PED use throughout my years as a competitive bodybuilder, and I’ve encouraged many people to make wiser choices with their own bodies BECAUSE of the damage that I’ve experienced. I can’t really believe that in the current times, people still believe that 250 pound bodybuilders aren’t using anabolics.
Some people won’t agree with me bringing up the “secrets” of the beef industry either. I also understand this perspective. I often remind myself that years ago, I had no idea that anything was ever added to a cow besides an ear tag and a brand. I’d want to know what was out there and why I would expect to pay more for someone else’s methods.
Am I claiming that all other beef is “toxic” because it was given hormone implants? Not in every case(depends on timing). I do however, have personal experience with the stress these compounds add. Many of our followers also have the same experience. It would be insane to pretend that these animals wouldn’t be stressed, panicky and uncomfortable due to these compounds, and I say that with pure sincerity. This is T*en Acetate we’re talking about! For us, we choose to try and operate closer to nature than that.
Lastly, I’m always happy to discuss these matters with any other ranchers. My hope is that they’ll believe my first hand experience and decide to do things differently for the comfort of their animals. As stewards of animals, all of us ranchers and farmers are in this life together, trying to feed Americans the healthiest food possible.
