IF YOU USE FULL SPECTRUM C*D PRODUCTS PLEASE READ THIS. IT ADDRESSES NEW FEDERAL LEGISLATION COMING, OUR STANCE AND WHAT WE ARE DOING.
If you use full-spectrum C*D, we want to give you a heads-up about an important federal change that may affect products you have relied on for years.
A temporary 30-day extension moved the effective date for naturally derived h**p products to December 11, 2026. Unless Congress takes further action, new federal rules will limit finished h**p products to just 0.4 mg of total THC and similar cannabinoids in the entire package.
That is an extremely small amount.
Many traditional full-spectrum C*D products contain only tiny, naturally occurring amounts of THC and are well below current h**p limits, but could still exceed this new federal rule simply because the THC is being counted across the entire bottle or package.
Why this matters
Full-spectrum h**p keeps naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, and other plant compounds together, including a small amount of THC. Many customers prefer full-spectrum products because of what is commonly called the entourage effect—the idea that these compounds may interact differently together than C*D alone.
Where Terry’s stands
We strongly disagree with how restrictive this new federal standard is.
We believe there is a major difference between intoxicating h**p products designed to deliver high levels of THC and traditional full-spectrum C*D products containing only trace, naturally occurring THC.
We support sensible regulation and consumer safety. We do not believe eliminating traditional, responsibly formulated full-spectrum C*D is sensible regulation.
Are we stopping C*D?
Absolutely not.
We have not panicked or made sudden changes. We have been hopeful for another delay or a more reasonable solution.
Behind the scenes, we have already been working on a soft transition plan with the manufacturer of our own Peace Garden H**p products and with the other C*D brands we carry.
Some products may eventually need to be reformulated, moved to broad-spectrum or THC-free formulas, or replaced with compliant alternatives.
Most importantly, we are not going anywhere. We will continue working with our manufacturers and keeping you informed every step of the way.
