One of our own @ Soda Drop! Kudos to Caroline Gill!!! 🙌
Shout Out to Legacy High School Senior Caroline Gill. She is the Servpro of Bismarck High School Athlete Of The Week! "Caroline has accomplished so much in her high school career, cheering since 7th grade. For six years, I have watched her grow up through this sport. There have been incredible moments, but there have also been hard seasons—times when cheer wasn't fun, when things didn't go the way she hoped, and when walking away probably would have been easier. But she never did. She continued to show up, work hard, and stand beside her team. Her team has competed at Nationals twice, and this winter she will have the opportunity to go to Nationals for a third time during her senior year. Those experiences are something she will always remember, but I think what matters even more is everything that happened behind the scenes to get there—the long practices, difficult days, sacrifices, disappointments, friendships, and determination to keep going. And cheer is only one part of what she balances. She is a good student, works a job, and still makes the commitment to be there for her team. Watching her manage all of those responsibilities has made me incredibly proud. As her mom, I've learned that being an athlete isn't always about being the strongest, winning the competition, or having the perfect performance. Sometimes it's about showing up when you're exhausted. It's staying committed when something you love becomes difficult. It's being there for the people who are counting on you. As she begins to close this chapter of her life, I would love to see her recognized for the athlete she has been, the teammate she has chosen to be, and the resilient, hardworking young woman she has become. No matter what happens during her final season, I couldn't be prouder of her for never giving up on herself or her team." Big Congrats Caroline, nominated by three different "fans"!
