Schwoerer Acres Farm fresh eggs and beef raised on our farm along with many other locally produced items in our farm store Our chickens are hand raised from day old chicks.

The hens are pets who will eat from our hands. Chickens have the run of the farm. Their coop is open so they can roam as they please. Our hens are certified by Animal Welfare Approved. Eggs are sold on a first come, first served basis. Eggs are available for pick up by appointment at our farm. Best times are evenings and weekends. We are willing to meet in surrounding areas if we are passing throu

gh. Message us to set up a pick up or meeting time. You will notice a few differences between our eggs and store bought eggs:
1. Shells are harder to crack
2. Yolks are bright yellow/orange
3. Variations of color in shells (no difference in taste)
4. Variation in size of eggs

Skip expensive take out for lunch. Ham & Hay Day cheddar on an Asiago ciabatta roll. Threw it in the air fryer for a few minutes while I packed my lunch. Warm it up in the microwave at work and it’s perfect.

7 different kinds of cheese from TLC - The Little Cow in Wonewoc are available at the farm store on Saturdays.

Played around with my cinnamon roll recipe today. Made cinnamon rolls and sticky buns with Royal Guernsey Creamery Sweet Cinnamon Butter, and they are so good! 😋

If I have the time and ambition after work on Friday, two packs like this will be available at the farm store Saturday. 1 cinnamon roll and 1 sticky bun per box. All money goes to the spay/neuter fund.

A little good news for our Tuesday:
9 six month old puppies were spayed and neutered thanks to everyone’s generosity at our farm store!
The last check I sent for Sweets for Spays (and neuters!) was $1000 and covered the entire bill.

Thank you to everyone that buys my treats! Together, we just kept a lot of potential litters from happening!

I’m so glad I can use my farm store not only to share others’ local goods, but to donate and fundraise for a cause that’s important to many of us 🐾

Now I need to think of a treat to make for this weekend 🤔

I tend to showcase other people’s goods and forget about our own!

Steaks have been selling like crazy, but don’t forget we also have 1 pound tubes of ground beef.
Very lean, I just wipe the grease out of the pan with a paper towel after browning.
Easy for a quick weeknight dinner. If you forget to thaw something, just throw a tube in the sink with cool water. It will be thawed in an hour.

Tenderloin steaks $22/lb
Ribeye steaks (2 per pkg) $20/lb
T-bone or porterhouse steaks (2 per pkg) $16/lb
Sirloin steak $14/lb
Stew meat $8/lb
Sirloin tip or rump roast $8/lb
1/4 lb burger patties (4/pkg) $8
Ground beef 1 lb tubes $7 each
Chuck roast $7/lb
Eggs $5/dozen (pre orders recommended fall-spring)
