With our annual Holiday MAL approaching, I’ve decided to knit the Stonecrop Pullover by DreaReneeKnits The colorwork reminds me of holiday lights.

I plan to use De Rerum Natura Ulysse paired with Spincycle Yarns but I’m having trouble choosing between these seconds of Ghost Ranch or Eventide. In your opinion, which one looks more like holiday lights?

DreaReneeKnits returned to some comfort knitting with the Anemoia shawl. It features a squishy, relaxing garter stitch, along with some brioche and bobbles to add detail and keep things interesting.

This is one of 🧶🌈🍬🐑💗Renee🧵🪡💝♒🍭 and my favorite times of the year! It is time for our "Holiday in July" Knit-Along (KAL). The event begins July 1st and runs through November 30th.

I will be casting on the Stonecrop Pullover by Andrea Mowry; the colorwork reminds me so much of holiday lights. Renee is going for 2 sweaters this year. She will be working on the Snowstorm Christmas Jumper by Samantha Sabido and Enchanted Forest Sweater by Cheryl Kubat. We cannot wait to start making holiday projects with you!

Whether you knit, crochet, spin, cross-stitch, or needlepoint, we invite you to join in. You can start anytime, provided you finish by November 30th.

MAL Details:

- Discount: Purchase your materials at the shop to receive 10% off. Please call or text the shop to let us know you are purchasing for the KAL/MAL to receive your discount.
- Prizes: Makers who finish their projects will receive our holiday stitch marker and a special treat.

Its amazing how we can connect with other makers through Instagram and form such great friendships. I really enjoyed the Canyon Dress sew-along by Friday Pattern Company . It was nice to shared our progress and chatting along the way with Alisha Edmiston and Chelsea

I picked out my fabric a few weeks before we planned to start, and while sewing the dress during the NBA Finals, I realized I had chosen Knicks colors. I guess it was meant to be—it is officially my Knicks dress now!

I have such great memories of watching the Knicks in the 90s with my cousins. The Ewing, Starks, Mason, and Oakley era was so exciting, and I was a huge John Starks fan. It has been an uphill battle since then, so seeing them win has been incredible. Seeing the photos of Ewing and Brunson together after the win felt like a real full-circle moment.

Alisha Edmiston and I are always rooting for rivals 😆 Between the Eagles and the Chiefs, and now the Knicks and the Spurs, maybe our teams will finally align one day.
