We're back in action!

After a change in schedule and a day off for our all staff meeting and party, we're back in the shop and hard at work. It's gonna be a full day of butchering locally sourced beef and pork, making sure we use every part we possible can, and serving happy faces when you stop in to check out the case and grab what you need for dinner.

Starting this week, the Butcher Shop will be closed on Mondays.

We will also be closed this Tuesday, October 6th, for staff appreciation. Outside of those closures, our extended hours of 11am to 6pm Tuesday through Saturday remain in place so you can swing by when it works best for you.

And as always, you can place an order ahead of time and just run in to pick it up. Email us at [email protected].

Your friendly Black Mountain butcher shop (that's us!) is more than happy to take your order ahead of time so you get exactly what you're looking for, whether that's a special cut, a large quantity of something specific, or a charcuterie board for your next event or celebration.

Honest Meats for the whole family. Being a butcher shop that practices whole-animal butchery means that we do everything we can to limit waste and honor every part of the animal. It's part of our commitment to sustainable agriculture and delivering the best to every customer who walks through our doors.

Pork skin is a perfect example. In our restaurant , we use pork skin to create flavorful broths used for delicious gravy and sauces. While here at our Black Mountain butcher shop, we use pork skin for treats for your 4-legged friends.

It's one less perfectly usable animal product in the trash, and one more way to spoil those who welcome us home with wagging tails.
