We are back after a long break from facebook and just in time to welcome our newest addition.

Baling hay today. If anyone would like to come out and help pick up bales (only 100 or so) stop by our place at 6pm. Will provide cold beverages, food, and comradery! If you come please wear close toed shoes, long pants/sleeves, and gloves (if you have them, we have extra). Thanks!

With a heavy heart, as of February 1st, we have decided to close the dairy portion of Hoof Hearted Farm. We will continue to provide grass-fed beef through Glade Road Growing. We ran our dairy for 8 years, and enjoyed providing nutrient dense milk to many herdshare members. Running a dairy is hard! Its 365 days a year, rain, snow or shine. We decided to close, to spend more time as a family, like going camping and not rushing back in the morning to milk. We appreciate all the support we have received through the years. New heifer up for sale if anyone is interested in a super sweet A2/A2 calf for a future family cow! We haven't had that many heifers born over the past few years and are at our current limit on cow herd size.

We had the pleasure of having the entire Kipps Elementary School kindergarten visit for a field trip. They got to milk a cow, pet goats and a calf and learn about grass and manure. We had a great time!
