On Sunday, April 12th, we said goodbye to our beautiful Gracie Lou Freebush , a soul so full of love and playful divilment that words can hardly describe her.
Almost 17 years young, Gracie wasn’t only a cat; she was family, a constant companion, and a source of comfort on both the best and hardest days. She had a way of making everything feel more full whether it was through her playful spirit, her loyal presence, being by her side or accepting her 'gifts' reluctantly.
Her paws may no longer walk beside us, but the love she gave so freely will never leave. It lives on in the little memories the way she looked at you, the sound of her heavy footsteps, the joy she brought into every room, drinking water with her paw, chasing the dogs... small but mighty, such a presence.
Thank you, Gracie, for every moment, every memory, and every bit of love. You were deeply cherished, and you always will be. You leave such a massive space in my home (you moved 8 times with me over the course of our 11 years together)
