It has been a long term goal of mine to become a licensed wildlife rehabber. I am excited to announce that I have officially begun the process!! I will be working closely over the next 12 months as an apprentice with a fantastic mentor and then I can be officially licensed by the state of NC. I am currently caring for 7 orphaned baby opossums (of course!!) that are approximately 8-10 weeks old. They woke up this morning and decided today was the day they were going to lap up their breakfast!!
