Some cakes mean a little more. 🤍

This month, we had the honor of being a small part of Maddy & Alex’s wedding day. Maddy’s family has been intertwined with ours for many years, and having the chance to watch her grow up and now create her wedding cake made this one incredibly special.

There’s something surreal about creating a cake for someone you’ve watched grow through so many seasons of life—and then seeing them standing beside it on one of the biggest days of all. 🥹

This Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd, a portion of ALL sales at L&L Bakery will be donated to the Blaine Public Schools Foundation.

So whether you stop in for a coffee, a savory bite, a macaron, or something sweet, part of your purchase will help support our local schools. ✏️🍎

We’re so grateful to be part of this community, and this feels like one small way we can say thank you and help support the students, teachers, and families who make Blaine so special.

There’s something really special about knowing a cake will become part of someone’s memory.

A birthday wish. A wedding toast. A table surrounded by family. A quiet celebration that means more than anyone else may ever know.

We’re lucky enough to create a small piece of those moments, and we never take that for granted.

For us, dessert has always been about more than something beautiful to look at. It’s about the joy in sharing it, the smiles around the table, and that little moment of happiness with every bite.

Creating that for you is what makes us happiest. 🤍
