A beautiful Saturday morning means fire up the Weber Grills Kettle and put on 2 pork butts. On the left is my homemade SPG rub, with a touch of onion powder, and on the right is a new rub from Go Big or Go BBQ, LLC that I've been wanting to try. Plus, it's the maiden voyage for the SnS Grills Slow N Sear. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

With the frigid weather, I wanted to try cooking ribs a different way. I've seen a few videos using the oven so now it's my turn. 2 racks of baby backs, liquid smoke binder, and a nice layer of Kansas City Sweet rub in the oven at 225. Time to make some magic!

Sharing another picture in hopes to warm our spirits. Ribs are one thing I love smoking and I think I'm pretty fair at it. In hopes to lift my spirit during this frigid weather, I'm planning to do ribs in the oven this weekend. Stay tuned for those results!

I'm sitting here on a cold and snowy Saturday, dreaming of warmer weekends and more opportunities to make some fantastic pulled pork like I did last weekend. A simple salt and pepper rub, some mesquite wood, and time in the Weber Grills Kettle. And boy oh boy, it came out so good!

Took some spare ribs and cut them down to St Louis style for the pellet smoker and put the rib tips on the Kettle. Both were covered with a nice layer of Kansas City Sweet rub. Dinner will be good! And so will lunch tomorrow :)

Time to see what the hype is about :) I picked up a Picanha steak from and seasoned it simply with salt and pepper. Seared it on both sides, then moved it way over to finish up on indirect. I'm definitely looking forward to this, but then again - who doesn't love steak?
