It is with much prayer, research, and family conversations that we are closing the Pecan Shed at T Bar M Farms. Like so many other small, family owned businesses, we were hit hard financially due to Covid-19. We are grateful for the many faithful customers over the past 4 years!!! We plan on keeping the orchard and wholesaling our locally grown pecan crop. The Lord is opening new opportunities for us and we are excited to see what the future holds. God bless 💛

These look scrumptious!

Pecan Pralines

Ingredients:

4 oz. butter
4 cups white sugar
12 oz. can evaporated milk
2 cups pecans

Directions:

Combine butter, milk and sugar in a heavy 5 quart pot and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture boils then stir continuously until the mixture reaches the “soft ball stage”. Do not cook on high heat. Remove pot from heat and let cool a bit while stirring until mixture is loses the glossy appearance. Add pecans and stir until mixture starts to thicken. Drop by spoonful on foil or waxed paper.
