Baby piggies finally made their way back to the back of the barn......soooo I stopped what I was doing, sat down and tried making friends with one of the gilts 🥰
It *might* be hard for me to let some of these gilts go, especially the one in this video!! When you KNOW what an animal's parents are like, what they're capable of producing & what it's like to work around them every day..... it's hard to let them go!!
I'm talking about the goats too!! I have NEVER retained 3 of my OWN bucklings, in 1 season but when I milk their dams daily, see/feel the udders & know all too well what they produce.....I NEED TO KEEP THEM!!! I know, crazy goat lady over here 🤪
The parents to all our piglets are absolute rockstars 💯 So if I come to my senses and hubby talks me out of keeping the black/white gilts for breeding.....they will be available after weaning 😉
I would be VERY PICKY about were they end up and prefer them to be kept as breeders 🙏🐷🐽
