Ayam Cemanis are hatching! Known for a dominant gene that causes hyperpigmentation (fibromelanosis), making them mostly black, including feathers, skin, beaks, and internal organs. We are selling them for $40 each- they usually go for $50-$90 per chick. Would like to sell in pairs as they are very co-dependent. They are very VERBAL, they can FLY, and need a lot of room inside as well as out (and netting above). They are for the experienced chicken lover and an ornamental, special breed. Call for help. The Jacobson family just lost their father, leaving behind their mother and 5 children. Ryan, the oldest is 20 and I coached him in chess at Knowlton and he was friends with Joey. This family is a wonderful family and I cannot imagine the grief and responsibility that Ryan and his mother will have to bear. Money will not take away their pain, but if you can make a donation of even just $10 to help with medical and burial expenses it might ease the stress so they may concentrate on healing.

We've gotten a lot of inquiries about turkeys but, we did NOT do them this year. However, our dear friends over at Brodhecker Farms did. he has about 8 left at $3.99/lb. Raised and air-chilled just like here! Go get one before they all go!

Local Free Range Chicken Alert! Tonight’s special 1/2 Smoked Chicken platter with Mashed Potato and Broccoli Rabe. These birds come from the renowned Voodoo Chicken Farm in NW New Jersey. We swear, these are the best chickens we have ever tasted. Our platter is full enough to share for sure!
