Dahlia planting time started for us this weekend. This morning the temps were around 32* F and I'm so happy we held off and didn't plant two weeks ago!
This is 'Diva,' one of my favorites! She is such a strong, reliable bloomer with wine/plum flowers that begin in early August (for me) and continue through first frost.

Hello!!
We have emerged from hibernation...haha!

I have not posted in so very long, but I've been having too much fun living my real life to remember to post about it ❤️

We spent the winter with our favorite people, loving on our family members, drinking too much hot coffee and eating too many desserts 🤣 but on this sunny April Saturday, we are dividing dahlias, weeding the peony field and looking forward to everything that comes next!
I usually post pretty photos of colorful flowers, so I thought I would share some photos of my pretty family.
