Rich tomato, clouds of creamy ricotta, sweet sun-dried tomatoes, and a glass of something red beside it. Our kitchen may be small, but our standards are not. We source the highest quality ingredients because the difference shows up in every bite, and our guests have always been able to taste it.

From the very first day, Dancing Rabbits was built around a simple idea: that a small mountain town deserves a w**e list with real depth and real stories. Bottles like this Fiddlehead Cellars Pinot Noir, chosen one at a time by people who have tasted them, know who made them, and can tell you why they belong in your glass. That’s not a concept. That’s who we’ve always been.

Every board we build begins with sourcing we won’t compromise on: cured meats imported from Italy, sliced thin and laid out by hand, and cheeses that come to us from a farm in Wisconsin where they’re still made with patience and care. Add briny olives, pickled okra, and bread toasted golden, and you have a board that tastes like it came from somewhere, because it did. Don't be afraid to ask where an ingredient comes from, it's what we are proud of.

Take a little piece of the mountains home with you. Our shelves hold Counter Culture coffee for slow mornings, Harney & Sons teas for quiet afternoons, a wall of thoughtfully chosen w**es for evenings by the fire, and Craft Blends rubs for the cook in your life. Whether you're visiting for the Sorghum Festival or the fall color, leave with something to remember the season by.

For those who'd rather trade the w**e glass for something hoppy, our taps are pouring too. Medlock Hazy IPA and Allagash are waiting at the bar, cold and ready after a long day on the trail. The leaves are turning, the air is crisp, and the porch is the perfect place to enjoy a pint.

The lights are strung, the pink chairs are waiting, and the mountains are just beginning to blush with fall. Festival weekend brings visitors from near and far, and our doors are open daily from 6am to 8pm. Start your morning with espresso, end your evening with w**e, and find us somewhere in between.

Some afternoons ask for nothing more than good company, a glass of something pink, and a plate meant for sharing. Peppery arugula, a drizzle of balsamic, and a table that invites you to stay a little longer. After a day of chasing color through the hills, come let the evening unfold slowly with us

There's a particular kind of quiet that settles over the mountains in October, and we think it tastes like this. Espresso poured slowly over cold, sweet cream, the warm and the cool meeting in the cup. Whether you're coming down from a morning on the trail or wandering in from the Sorghum Festival crowds, let this be the pause in your day.
