Dam: SMP Jewel (MAB/Majors Money Man/Ali)

Broke to lead and tie, great disposition. Big frame weighing around 800. Mother and her grand dam are both large frame cows weighing 1500-1600. Sire and dam photos included. Videos in comments. PM for more info.

Photo dump from showing at the Iowa State Fair open Maine Anjou last week. PB March Maine bull calf was a class winner in bull calf division, he weighed 553, excited to see what he can do as a bull as he grows. 4th place in a tough class for our High % January Maine heifer, she is weighing just under 800 pounds and could hold way more weight currently with her growth spurt in frame. She has a lot of potential for whoever purchases her, as she gets pushed on more feed and fiber. Her mother and grandmother both weigh 1500-1600 plus and are big framed cows. Lots of memories made in and outside of the barn. Our future showman and herdsman enjoyed his first time at the Iowa State Fair and can’t wait until he can show.

Yesterday we got our stalls all set up and cattle settled in at the Iowa State Fair. Cattle will be on display all week and we show Saturday morning stop by we are in the east end of the swine barn by the wash rack. Can’t wait for another year of camping, showing, and making memories with new and old friends. This year will be a little more special down in the stalls as we get to share it with the next generation of Pilcher Show Cattle!

Use the show stick enough when they’re young and they’ll naturally strike quality poses like this in the lot.

Congrats to Karisa Ridgman with her class winning steer at the Waukesha County Fair in Wisconsin. Steer weighed over 1300lbs. Thank you for your purchasing this steer and taking good care of him!!

Got an update from Lilyan Heine with her MaineTainer heifer purchased from us last fall SMP Cheyenne! Lily has done great with her and can’t wait to see how she does at county fair! We will have a full brother to this heifer for sale this fall!
