Carandale Fruit Farm Organic Aronia berries at Woodman's (and elsewhere)!

08/17/2026

We are sad to report that the lack of viable berries makes it impossible to invite people to pick. We were hoping to offer free to low cost self picking. So, we hope you may find berries elsewhere, but, most growers have reported low to no berries (across the Midwest). It appears early frost and subsequent dryness has created this unfortunate situation. Carandale may have a limited supply at Madison grocery stores later in the season. 😔

Some berries this year but are looking smaller and maturing sooner due to high temps and dry conditions. We will need to make a determination as to whether they are worth harvesting as a fresh offering. Stay tuned. 🫤
