Navi is almost 8 months old and still tiny- I’d guess she weighs around 15lbs. I should get her on a scale lol.

This is her third time seeing sheep.
She is an all around easy girly to get along with!

The face of a puppy who just realized that sheep are a lot of fun to menace 😂 Really had to pry her away from them with my cold dead hands.
A month ago she didn’t even look at the sheep- genuinely just beep bopped into the round pen looking up at me wagging her tail.

I’ll put her up for a while again, still not ready- but glad to see she has it in her!

This sheep’s name?
“Christy’s pet sheep”

When I got into sheep do***ng, I made the rule that our sheep aren’t to be overly people friendly. It makes them awful for working dogs!😂

We haggled it down to her being allowed one friendly sheep to dote on- this lady was the winner, never got a proper name other than Christy’s Pet Sheep, and funnily enough… she is one of my best dog sheep to work🥸😂
The universe plays such funny pranks sometimes.

I’m sure everyone has seen him on our stories by now, but thought I’d go ahead and give him his own spotlight post😊

Tup is owned by Michael and Phyllis McNutt, who are letting me borrow him for the trial season.
I can’t even touch on how grateful I am for this opportunity. To allow a novice like myself to work and run their very well trained dog is incredibly generous and I’ll never forget it❤️

I have spent the past two months working him at home and taking lessons to really partner up before trialing, and I will step onto the Open field for the first time next weekend! I’m glad Tup gets to be the one stepping to the post with me.

I don’t have high expectations as my handling still needs a lot of work- but I’m excited all the same.

A really great work this evening- Putting pieces together! I can never get longer clips- I’m not good enough to train and video simultaneously, and we always end up out of shot when I put the tripod up😂

Can we also talk about how gorgeous our field is now that it’s grown up??😍 Minus the yellow flowers we can’t seem to get rid of.
