Today is a bittersweet day. (Swiss miss getting the royal treatment) We have rehomed our herd to my family in Kentucky. I am so excited for their goat adventures together! But sad that I won’t be able to look out the back yard at my herd. But I’m bringing home a new addition to our Brittany Spaniel crew tomorrow! These little girls aren’t ADGA registered, because their momma is Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy Cross but their sire is ADGA and naturally polled. He created very pretty babies! You know the hard farming years?!? This has been one of them. But the fact I get to be a steward of these animals is a huge blessing even during the hard times. This Brittany Spaniel momma (Sarah)just has a heart of gold and she will be a hard dog to beat her personality and selflessness. She just knows how to be a good mother. Even though the baby goat isn’t a puppy she’s still trying to nurse it.
