It's Preg Check Tuesday! David George is getting certified for interstate livestock transport as he heads to his new farm in northern Pennsylvania. And to top it off, we're finally above freezing and soaking up the sunshine!

The unexpected snowfall had us scrambling to get the cow shed ready - finding space for the manure spreader in the crowded barn was a game of Tetris. IYKYK

Next, we added some old hay for bedding and let the cows in.

But before long they snuck back out to the field to grab whatever uncovered grass they could find.

Where is the dusting that was forecasted?

Thank goodness we are ready.

✅ All the hoses are drained and pull away.

✅ Stock tanks are swapped out.

✅ Winter hay shed is cleaned out.

✅ Manure is spread on the fields.

✅ Tank heater is in place.

Let it snow!!!❄️
