Successful day for Emma at the Missouri State Fair. She brought 3 sheep and placed in the top 3 in each class she competed in.

- Yr. Ram is the 4H Reserve Champion Katahdin Ram.
- Spring Ram Lamb received 2nd in his class and was in the grand champion drive.
- Spring Ewe Lamb received 2nd in her class as well and competed in the grand champion drive.

Osage County was represented very well today between us and other sheep exhibitors today.

Cole County Youth Showcase 2025

Kristin walked away with Grand Champion AOB Ram then went on to win Reserve Surpreme Ram with her Yearling Ram.

Emma had good remarks on her lambs as well. She took the title of Senior Champion Showman against 6 other great showman.

Also a big thank you to Heartland Photography for capturing great photos so we didn't have to worry about capturing them ourselves!

2025 Osage County Fair Breeding Show

We are so happy to live in a County where our fellow sheep exhibitors and family feel like a family! Yesterday we were a part of one of the largest sheep shows we have had at the Osage County Fair in years thanks to the next generation. Large classes, high quality sheep and great people made for a fantastic day.

Kristin, Emma, and EmmyLou made it out into the ring yesterday bringing home lots of blue ribbons.

Emma won showmanship for the 2nd time this week, senior market showmanship and also senior breeding showmanship. Both judges complemented her on her composure, posture, and her presentation skills.

EmmyLou's lamb SnowBaa is a spring ewe out of her very own ewe (Fancy) and received accolades from the judge even though she may be small.

Osage County Fair 2025

Today was a great day for Cedar Creek Katahdins! There were 3 classes of hair market lambs today that had class winners in the grand champion drive!

Emma has the honor to have the Reserve Champion lamb and she also went head to head with Kristin for showmanship and won.

Now on to tomorrow to see the battle of the sisters for showmanship for the 2nd time this week!

Osage County Fair Week

Kristin and Emma Rieke will be showing and selling their farm raised wethers on Thursday, July 10th. They have been putting the work in on their market katahdins along with their breeding stock!

Sale/Auction 6:00 pm

Breeding stock will be shown on Friday the 11th at 1 pm.

We have had some of our followers reach out for Butcher lambs. Here is your chance, these are the only lambs for sale!
